Supporting Individuals and Families with Developmental Disabilities
We offer Daily and Monthly support for individuals and families with disabilities providing them with Daily Assistance and support for their needs, support-individuals and families with developmental disabilities. These support are segmented to address the specific needs of mothers, fathers, siblings, caregivers, advocates, and friends. Daily and Monthly education and development seminars are available for skills training, virtual field trips, arts and culture exploration, book clubs and reading, STEM activities, music therapy, business skills, and entrepreneurship, workshops.
Service Oriented
We demonstrate our act of compassion through our dedication for helping others with individual with developmental disabilities in programming and initiatives. We will leverage opportunities to achieve the greatest impact for those with disabilities by creating internships to cultivate belonging, effectiveness, and diversity throughout the areas we serve.
Empowerment
We add value while appreciating differences and accepting uniqueness, through developing personal and professional skills and building meaningful relationships, ongoing education, support and self advocacy, and awareness.
Community Involvement
We commit to making a lasting and meaningful impact in our community through creating new opportunities in underserved communities, and building collaboration amongst community partners.
Nations Transformation Miniteries strive to give individuals with developmental disabilities the tools to collaborate, solve problems, create, communicate, and connect. When given the right tools, every person can pursue their passions and discover new ways to explore them at home, work, school, and in the community. We work to leverage each person's strengths to inspire community change leaders, while creating a world where all people are seen in their full humanity and treated fairly.
Encouraging and Promoting Involvement for Everyone
As a Charitable organization in Toronto, Nations Transformation Ministeries continues to advocate for socialization, education, empowerment, and diversity within the individual with developmental disabilities in our community. We want to ensure that every person within this community has the support and guidance they need to lead a more fulfilling life.
Get Involved
Our team needs the following support:
- A range of interactive games
- A well equipped sensory room with lighting and a variety of sensory toys
- Outings to parks, bowling, pool, beach
- Art and craft room
- Movie time - where we recreate a movie theatre
- Dancing, singing, acting, music, on-stage performance
- Cooking - various local and international cuisines
In order to adequately carry on these programs, we need:
1. Pay for the venue 2. Get Electronics (Television, sound equipment, lighting equipment and the likes)
3. Kitchen Utensils
4. Mini van for conveying the elderly and the staff
5. Approximately six staffs to run the program
